FLUCLOXIL
Flucloxacillin BP 125mg.
Flucloxacillin is a penicillin dependent beta-lactam antibiotic. Unlike other penicillins it is not inactivated by betalactamases and thus it is effective for treatment of penicillin resistance bacterial infections caused by gram positive organisms, including beta-lactamase producing Staphylococci. Flucloxacillin is acid stable and can be given by mouth as well as by injections.
