Terbutaline Sulphate Syrup

The active ingredient of Turbute Syrup is Terbutaline Sulphate BP 1.5mg/5ml.

Terbutaline sulphate belongs to a group of medicines called short-acting beta 2 agonists which stimulate beta 2 receptors. Stimulation of these receptors causes the muscles in the airways to relax, and this allows the airways to open.

In conditions where there is Bronchospasm (narrowing of the airways by mucous) it is difficult for air to get in and out of the lungs. In such instances Terbutaline acts as a bronchodilator and dilates the mucous plugged in the air ways and makes it easier to breathe.

Turbute syrup has a delicious banana flavor and is recommended for children.
